17U Quad City featured Wisconsin commit Ethan Happ-6'7" (Rockridge High School, Illinois). Happ is a tremendous athlete who is capable of doing a ton of things on the court. At times he brings the ball up for his team if need be and displays a nice handle for a kid his size.. Rebounds at a high level and is a very fundamentally sound player. Has nice touch from mid range and extending past three point. Had a couple block on Evan Boudreaux in their matchup showing good timing on defense. Had a big second  half after only scoring two points in the first half against Boudreaux. Very intelligent player. Simply needs to add bulk to his long frame and improve on his foot speed a bit. Very smooth player.

Evan Boudreaux- 6'7"(Lake Forest , Illinois) of NLP's squad was another impressive big man from Illinois. Right away I was blown away by his ability to see the court, find an open spot and taking advantage. Solid rebounder and is willing to battle. Fights for good position consistently. Solid free throw shooter as well as mid range. Does a good job getting teammates open by setting solid screens. Really gets it as a player and listens very well. Very intelligent kid. Has offers from Boston College and Northwestern also interested in Stanford, Michigan State, Michigan, and Wake Forest.

16U Illinois Wolves have a smooth guard in Prentiss Nixon 6'1" (Bowlingbrook, Illinois). Very good decision maker with the ball in his hands. Very solid scoring the ball especially from behind the three point range. Needs to improve a bit handling the ball to be able to handle the point. Could stand to put on weight as it will help him finishing around the rim.

Wisocnisn Blizzards 16U team featured a long post player in Cody Schwartz-6'7" (West De Pere, Wisconsin). Cody has a really nice outside in game and depending on the matchup he's able to do both at a pretty high level. Does a solid job moving to his right in the post, however could use a stand to work going to his left. Has a very effective shot from three point range. He also has a good but to great mid range game. Needs to work on his ball handling a bit as well as staying low on defense. Solid kid with offers from Creighton, Northern Iowa, and Wisconsin-Green Bay.

St. Louis Cardinals 16U team has one of the top players in the country in Jayson Tatum-6'7"(Chaminade, St. Louis Missouri). This kid can literally do it all from rebounding, to handling the ball, to defense he does it all at a very high level. A very smooth shooter from all over the court, extending to three point range. Lanky athlete and is the primary ball handler when needed. Very sound fundamentally, good moves in the post as well as off the dribble, while always being in a good solid stance on defense. At this stage he just needs to continue to get stronger as it's obvious he is still growing.

17U Mac Irvin was loaded with talent as usual however a few really stood out.

Jalen Brunson 6' (Lincolnshire, Illinois) of Mac Irvin is a crafty left handed point guard who is a floor general and maintains a calm demeanor throughout the game. Easily gets in the lane and is an excellent passer when he gets there, finding open lanes constantly. Does a good job of shielding off defenders. Shows great court vision. Has nice touch from mid range. Needs to continue to get stronger physically. Arguably top point guard in his class in Illinois. Father was a starter at Temple and played in the NBA for 8 seasons. Brunson currently holds offers from Depaul, Illinois, SMU, Purdue, and Xavier with more I'm sure to come.

Illinois Wolves 17U team featured Ohio State commit Keita Bates-Diop 6'7" (Normal, Illinois) who did not disappoint. Diop is freakishly athletic and has a great touch from outside. He rebounds the ball high and keeps it high. Can really get up displaying his leaping ability on a fast break steal and dunks. Show really good instincts on defense. Simply needs to tighten up his fundamentals and he will go from a very good player to flat out dominant.

Wisconsin Academy 16U team displayed a solid point guard in Trevor Anderson 6' (Stevens Point, Wisconsin) one of the top players in the state. Has ability to score the ball at will and has a very tight handle on the ball. Seems to enjoy getting his teammates involved and shows a good work ethic defensively. Needs to demand the ball more and work on his agility and lateral quickness to take the next step. Smart kid and a hard worker.A top player in his class in Wisconsin, fun to watch.

Tyler Ullis 5'8" (Marion Catholic High School, Illinois) from 17U Meanstreets put on a display all weekend long, showing why he is one of the top point's in the country. A master at getting into the lane and making a timely pass. Has a nice touch from mid range as well as tut to three point range. Solid finisher at the rim with both right and left hand. Gets so low when getting around defenders that he makes it nearly impossible to guard him. Simply electric. Loads of offers at this point from Colorado State, Dayton, Depaul, Iowa, Loyola, Northern Illinois, Oregon State, and Purdue.

Meanstreets 17U also  featured a premier wing in Paul White 6'8" (Whitney Young Magnet, Illinois). White is a versatile forward who can play either the three or four who has a nice touch from mid range and also can knock down the three. Does a good job on defense staying low and exploding for rebounds. White is a crazy athlete who can do just about everything on the court. Shows a nice ability to handle the ball for his size and does a good job recognizing match ups. At this point he just needs to be more consistent overall. White has offers from Arizona, Depaul, Florida, Illinois, Marquette, Wisconsin, and Purdue.

Vic Law 6'7" (St. Rita High School, Illinois) of 17U Meanstreets impressed all weekend long showing why he is one of the top risers in his class. Law rebounds the ball really well and can score in bunches when he gets hot. I really like his overall game as he can take his man off the dribble and showed he can post up a bit as well. Showed really nice bounce getting up on a tip dunk against Mac Irvin. Not afraid of anyone and never backs down from anyone.

Jahlil Okafor 6'10" (Whitney Young Magnet, Illinois). is arguably the top recruit in his class and he showed why this weekend. He looked like a man among boys out on the court dominating offensively and defensively on the boards. Shows a nice combination of spin moves as well as a nice right hook. Defends extremely well around the rim as he repeatedly blocked and deterred everything that came his way. Huge hands, and very athletic for his size as he displayed while grabbing a rebound going coast to coast, crossing over an open court defender and switching to his left in mid air for a layup. Needs to play play bigger on defense, by simply playing with his hands high he will alter many more shots and simply deter offensive players from coming into the lane. Simply put this guy is a star and loves playing in big time games. Has interest from just about every major college program in the country.
