It seems like we are due for a shakeup in the u15 east rankings. Having attended several of the live period events on the east coast like Hoop Group Summer Jam Fest, Elevate hoops Showdown and LIVE IN AC, it is clear the final spring rankings no longer reflect the balance of power. Player movement and big upsets have very much affected the balance of power since the final spring rankings. Several teams have stepped up: teams like DC Thunder, York Ballers and Playaz Gold caused upsets over the teams that have dominated the 2014 rankings like Sports U, Team Takeover, and DC Premier, WeR1 and took home the trophy in these tournaments. Obviously, there are factors at play, in some cases key players attended camps, or switching teams, but never-the-less some of the top teams are due to drop a few spots in these rankings based on sub-standard results during the live period and other teams are due for an appearance.
It has been a great month of club basketball. I'm excited to see how it shakes out.
