AAU coaching is very tricky some people don't have what's in the best interest of the children, but when you find a good coach, he is committed to doing all that he can do to prepare his player for the upcoming season in his respectful institutions, that they attend across the country. There must be a level of commitment when you as a coach take on the responsibility of mentoring a young man on how to become a better player. There is much talent in this country but a lot of it is undeveloped, when you find a coach that is willing to invest his time in a child to teach him the proper mechanics on how to become a more effective player then you have something good.

Coaching AAU is not a part-time job it is a full-time responsibility because basketball is like life whatever you put into it that is what you will get out of it. The fundamentals is missing in the game today, teaching the young men how to do a drop step is a lost art. A coach in the summer should be an extension of  The young player high school coach the responsibility of an AAU coach is to constantly keep the player prepare for the upcoming season. His game should always become better under your leadership, if this is not taking place then as a coach you must ask yourself why are you in this. We must remember that we are preparing these young men for the future, and leadership skills is something that they must have to be successful in life. So as a summer coach we must get back to the basics, the love of the game is what develops a very good player. I will say once again it's the basics, a proper jumpshot a good chest pass, getting back on defense and teaching good team chemistry. And competing will produce what is necessary for our game to survive, this is the true love of the game. I have seen some of the best talent in the country this past summer the Fab48, Bigfoot Las Vegas classic, Bigfoot Las Vegas live. But I know one thing is missing good coaching many of these coaches get away with talent but not knowing how to execute and prepare these young men for the next level is what's #39;s hurting our young players today. We must not allow these people who come into the game characterizing themselves as coaches and they really don't know the concept of the game they are in it for the wrong reasons and they are hurting the game.scholarships is what these young men should be playing for getting an education and taking advantage of the opportunity to do something that they love. we as coaches must except the responsibility and protect the integrity of the game in the highest way by teaching the game in the proper way.
