1. Coach cares more about players future instead of seasonal favoritism.

2. Coach expects every player to grow in talent, physical and mental ability throughout the season.

3. Coach has out of season programs for his players to grow in every aspect, not only sports.

4. Holds players accountable for mistakes but only punishes if it is something the player can control.

5. Non stereotypical. Everyone gets a chance to prove themselves.

6. Uses a weight program to strengthen their players during and out of season.

7. Assistant coaches are equally emphasized and never overlooked.

8. Can't take your anger out on your players. Everyone gets frustrated.

9. Congratulate your players on their efforts whether you win or lose.

10. Care about every game and never give up. ( even if you know you lost)

11. Should not compare players to their teammates. Everyone should be useful because of different skill levels.

12. Do everything you can to get your players to the next level.
