Every player deserves recognition when they have been useful in a teams growth. This is very effective in the players overall confidence when regarding positive criticism. This is the heartwarming aspect of an organization, but coaching has many more aspects. An aware coaching staff must feel their organization from the roots in order to provide accurate praise, criticism, or acceptance regarding their organization. If a player seems comfortable with their standings on a team that is the first hindering mistake. AAU basketball offers exceptional recognition and demand for high ranked players, but as we all know some players could feel overlooked. A good coach regardless of what they truly believe must mask their favoritism for certain players for the well being of the organization. No player is greater than the team and being a firm believer in opportunity and equality, one must swallow their pride and not let ANY player feel untouchable regarding constructive criticism. In order to maximize success as a team a coach must know what type of player they are working with and what his/her strengths and weaknesses are. One must go against the grain to mask favoritism for certain players to legitimize their procedures in the overall growth of the team. No player should feel unwanted or unneeded especially in successful programs. We will not hit a ceiling, everyday we will get better and satisfaction will never be prevalent.
