- Southern Spurs Sports Academy
The Southern Spurs Sports Academy Basketball Program was created with the goal of providing a safe and productive environment that enables participants to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, self-discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship while emphasizing the importance of education and becoming productive citizens. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates.
The Southern Spurs Sports Academy is committed to providing an atmosphere that prepares participants not only for Middle, High, and Collegiate basketball, but also for excelling in the classroom and life. Also, a component of the Southern Spurs Basketball Program is to provide community service, which is embedded in the team's mission statement, which is “To help enhance the community by providing an environment to develop strength, character, sportsmanship, and leadership”. The program operates year round and currently consists of grades 1st thru 11th, composed of players in Coweta, South Fulton, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, and Cobb counties.
