The Royal Knights is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization promoting amateur basketball for youth in Eastern North Carolina area. Royal Knights offers the opportunity to build self-esteem and sportsmanship, while learning the fundamentals of basketball.The Royal Knights Basketball Club is a community based volunteer organization whose purpose is to use youth basketball as a tool to expand the horizon of young people. The primary goal is to successfully prepare young men and women, both academically and athletically, for the opportunity to pursue a degree of higher education at the college level. The Royal Knights offers the opportunity to build self-esteem and sportsmanship, while learning the fundamentals of basketball. Not all of the costs associated with running the program are covered by the donations required for each member. The remainder of the necessary funds will be raised through the efforts of volunteers and the generosity of our contributors. The Royal Knights will offer a vast array of opportunities for companies, churches, and individuals, to become a part of our program as sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Throughout the year, there will be a number of small fundraising events. The Royal Knights Pledge: Provide excellent coaching and help to develop the necessary skills in the player to enhance his performance. Provide guidance on camps and other player development opportunities. Give each player a meaningful and rewarding life experience through the game of basketball.
