4 tricks to getting a great hotel deal

Idaho Select Basketball has been traveling since 1998. That’s a lot of hotel rooms we’ve booked over the years. There have been in some real dumps (sorry guys, the pictures seemed so good online) and we’ve lucked out a few times too.

With most teams, budget is a real consideration.

Here are four tricks that we have learned that help us get better rates, get more perks and set us up for the future in cities that we know we’ll be returning to. The tips range from the most obvious (like know your budget) to how to get hotels bidding against each other (in a fair way, of course).
