Butler Elite defeated Thunder Struck in the 2017 Indi World Championships by a narrow score of 61-57 in a thrilling double overtime game. After falling behind 35-23 at halftime, Butler Elite came storming back in the second half to send the game into its first overtime. After the first overtime ended with a 57-57 tie, a second overtime was forced where Butler Elite was finally able to pull away, winning 61-57.
Led by Antuan Nesbit’s 17 points, Butler Elite was able to overcome an early deficit to win perhaps of the best game of the tournament thus far. Nesbitt was aided by Jakobe Thompson who finished the game with 15 points.
