As the final day of the 2017 Indi World Championships kicks off, 3WYA Canada defeated the Up and Under in a thrilling game that came down to the final seconds when 3WYA hit a game winner at the buzzer. Led by Jayrell Diggs and Kyree Thompson who both had 17 points apiece, 3WYA was able to narrowly escape the Up and Under in the best game of the tournament so far.
With 14 lead changes and six ties, this game was close throughout and very evenly matched. On the losing side, Camden Thompson finished with 17 points, 4 rebounds and five assists, while Avery Johnson III finished with a near double-double of 12 points and 9 rebounds. One area in which 3WYA Canada had a slight advantage was in field goal percentage where they finished shooting 44.2 percent as opposed to Up and Under’s 40.4 shooting percentage.
