Gainesville Elite provides advanced basketball opportunities for youth in Gainesville, Virginia and surrounding areas. Gainesville Elite is the only program in the area to win several Virginia State AAU championships with multiple teams, and advance deep into several USA National AAU championship tournaments. We have won hundreds of tournaments and leagues all over the mid-Atlantic region. More importantly, we teach our kids the game of basketball and enable positive growth on and off the court. All of our board members and coaches are also 100% volunteer, which is unusual in this area.
The key to our success is our coaches. All of our coaches played at the collegiate or high school level (most collegiate) and all have been coaching collegiate, high school, and/or travel basketball for decades. We are organized, come with a plan, and know how to coach fundamental team basketball. Our track record and reputation speak for themselves.
Gainesville Elite has boys & girls teams from 3rd grade through high school. In addition to being 100% volunteer, we subscribe to all AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) player eligibility, age, and roster requirements. We also run a very well-organized annual basketball tournament in the spring that has sold out every year.
