After an exciting weekend two 14u teams have punched their ticket to the Indi World Championships that will take place in San Diego from August 3-5. The Indi West Regionals were hosted by Top Gun Basketball, located in San Diego. The top teams from the west coast played to determine the west coast representatives in the Indi World Championships.
After a long and hard fought tournament, 3rd World and Sky Blue Select have earned an automatic bid to the Indi World Championships. 3rd World defeated Sky Blue Select in the championship game 44-41.
3rd World went 2-0 in pool play by defeating Team Inland (72-38) and 1 on 1 Elite (45-40). On Sunday in bracket play, 3rd World defeated Team Magic (49-41) and Fresno Next Level (52-42). In the championship game, they beat Sky Blue Select 44-41.

Sky Blue Select also went 2-0 in pool play by cruising past Bearcats White (60-31) and the Slayers (55-40). In bracket play, Sky Blue Select went unchallenged by defeating 702 Select (43-10) and Gamepoint Elite (58-31). Sky Blue Select ran into trouble when they faced 3rd World in the championship game, losing by 3 (44-41).
