Las Vegas is becoming one of the top West Coast recruiting stops for college coaches, if you are looking for talent you must stop in Las Vegas in particular. Over the years we have seen a peek of some of the talent that has comes out of this great city Las Vegas. Shabazz Muhammad was a phenomenal player that help springboard this new generation of players. But this class of 2017 could be one of the best ever that has come out of the city of Las Vegas I could start off with the obvious superstars, but I won’t start there. (Coronado high) Kennedy Koehler at 6’7 215 lbs is a very physical player runs the floor well has a nice 15 foot jump shot and rebound with some of the best in the city. The old saying goes big things come in small packages (Canyon Springs) have a big-time player in Mr. Chris Hawkins at 5’9″ will be starting at the point guard position, I had an opportunity to see this young player, he’s a ball hawk defender he will drive you crazy(Lol!!) He made a name for his self on the EYBL Circuit playing for the Las Vegas prospects Coach Banks is getting a good one. A good friend of mine told me not to politic in this basketball thing(Lol!!!) told him that I would be Brutality honest no friends in this..

There is a nice point guard at (Coronado high), Trey Hurlburt at 5’11” that seems to always make the right plays at the right time basketball IQ is very good he will be an important part for his high school team. One thing you can’t teach is height and at 6’10” 190 pounds (Centennial high) Darian Scott has that for sure, shot blocker, rebounder still need to work on his Scoring ability. (Coral Academy) Ryan Djino at 6’5″ 195 lbs is a very good player in the c/o 2017 good post game and run floor well, excellent student scholarship will not be a problem for this young man. (Coral Academy) 6’3″ 140 lbs Isaiah Spears can shoot the ball played some of the better schools in the valley last year, he will Carrie the scoring load for his school in 2016-17. (Desert Pines) 5’11” Capri Uzan has committed to Air Force Academy he is one player in the city that can fill up the scoring stat sheet on a consistent night, very productive on the offensive end, but must commit himself to becoming a better defender. (Desert Pines) Jordan Simon at 6’3″ 205 lbs is a two Sport athlete that is giving himself options to play at the next level he’s very productive on the defense end. If (Shadow Ridge) is going to compete this year 6’1″ James fuller must become more effective he has all the tools to be a good player and play at the next level, if he commits himself. (Gorman high) is known for putting out players 6’4″ Ryan Kiley 190lb will find a college that will pick him up he can play. (Gorman) 6’1″ Jarrett Jordan is a solid player that can play he’s in a good system at Gorman, someone will pick him up. (Durango high) has a couple of players that are very productive and they will play at the next level, 6’5″ Zyare Ruffin is a very physical player and can rebound, colleges love complementary players, teammate 5’10” Dominique Valdez has a heart of a lion can score!!

No question if Tyler Bey (Las Vegas native) would have stayed in the city he would have been a top-five player!! he is a next level player that has the ability to go with the best of them. We can say what we want about the small school division but they are putting our players that are very productive and we can’t leave out(Meadows high) Jake Epstein at 6’1″he can score with the best of. The heart of (Rancho high) 6’2″ Chrys Jackson a physical point guard that will make a good complementary player on a college team. Now as we close we already know that all of these players can go they represent the city of Las Vegas well and they are carrying a new torchlight for the up-and-coming players in this great city!! let’s look at their names: 1.Troy Brown, 2.Chuck O’ Bannon 3. Christian Popoola 4. Isaiah Banks 5. Jerell Springer.. No doubt Las Vegas is a City to be reckoned with on the West Coast!! Up to this point hands-down the best class ever(2017) you can question it, but at the end of the day you can’t deny it!! I thought you knew Vegas all Day!!
