Ground Up Hoops is a non-profit organization dedicated to mentoring, training and developing student athletes 6 years of age and older. It was founded by Jordan Webster in 2010 to support the student athletes in his home town of Abbeville, Louisiana.
His vision is to help students who aspire to become better athletes in hope for a better life. A great part of that vision is the realization that very few athletes get a chance to get to the professional level.
"In my home state of Louisiana, young people need help and guidance in their endevor to grow up and become a contributing and productive members of the community. Ground Up Hoops will help lead the way".
With this reality in mind, Ground Up Hoops is dedicated to the student athlete in the union of education and athletics. The goal is preparation for performance and excellence on and off the court. Student athletes must be prepared for life after sports.

Ground Up Hoops is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to providing young student athletes an opportunity to develop their basketball talents with emphasis on sportsmanship, leadership and academic excellence, all tools needed for a successful life.
