The Hoops City Basketball Club (HCBC) which began in 2002, is a Non-Profit 501C-3 under the Amateur Athletic Union umbrella that offers intense competitive AAU Basketball Teams based out of its host facility, Hoops City U in RTP, North Carolina. In the past four years alone, over 1,600 athletes have played AAU with HCBC. We offer AAU opportunities in three levels of competitive play for Boys and Girls Teams Grades 2 thru 11: Team Carolina - National Elite - Regional Elite - Regional Plus Learn more about Hoops City AAU and its offerings in this short Power Point Presentation "Your Invitation to Join." The differences between each program consists of the strength of schedule and level of commitment expected. The Team Carolina brand is a nationally sponsored program extended to only our strongest teams that play the most challenging schedule. Our Elite brand consists of very skilled teams that usually play more on a local and regional level. Additional differences pertain to the frequency of practice sessions. Further details regarding all of our programs can be found under the Parents and FAQ Tabs located on the website. Hoops City’s approach to coaching is focused entirely on individual skill development, as we believe that this will ultimately translate into success for the team and a stronger self-image in each player. We strongly believe in the potential of each player, and it is the goal of the Hoops City Basketball Club coaches and administration to help realize that potential.
